I have a 850I THAT HAD A REPLACEMNET ENGINE. WHEN I WENT TO PLUG IT IN TO THE MAIN HARNESS THE CONNECTORS DON'T MATCH. TURNS OUT I HAVE THE LATER MODEL ENGINE. CAN'T FIND A EARLY INJECTOR HARNESS AND THE OLD ONE BURNED. ANY SUGGESTIONS

If you are trying to install a '96 or later M73 engine in an early 850 it takes more than just the injector harness.

So, what year is the car and what year is the engine?

The car is a 11/90 date mfg, the engine I am not sure. The connectors are the ones with triangles in the center, and a different color for each band wintin the connector.

I have a couple of early E31 spare engine harnesses in my shed, including the one you need. These things are not cheap however. Contact me via email if interested. wuffer@shaw.ca
