Was toodling around town minding my own business tonight, pulled up at a red light. A white Honda Accord pulls up next to me - I hear him before I see him, obviously modded. Sounded like a lawnmower. I looked over before having to turn my head away since the blue neon lights spilling all over the car made me wanna throw up.

Didn't think anything of it - light went green - off we went to about 40mph. Then he starts copping an attitude, honking me, flooring it, getting a CL or two in front, then braking to come back level with me.

We come to another light and he's revving the hell out of his car. Then I see him reach down under his dash... I'm wondering... is he hiding his drugs? Getting a gun? Switching on some ricer-boost mode?

I've never actually gone up against a ricer - I tend to avoid those types of car like the plague. But this guy was going too far. I actually thought I was gonna get absolutely blown away, I was waiting to hear the blow-off valve, but I'm guessing the only mods he had were to make it sound good... rather than be actually.. well, good.

The light went green. I absolutely annihilated him. He was a CL behind me when I hit 2nd, by the time I eased off at 100, he was several bus lengths behind me.

I gave him a thumbs up as he blew past me. Wish I hadn't bothered.

Asshat.

what a waste of gas, and time posting it.... sorry I have an accord beater and I wouldn't have even looked over and acknowledged the kid.

You did all that in an E46 M3? I would not have wasted my time. Unless you hear a BOV or a whine from a supercharger, save your gas.

Yeah, my Accord is a daily driver...stock as stock can be!!! I can't stand those riced out Accords! You have to understand the mentality of people who drive cars like that...they think by adding some bolt on mods, their car becomes really fast...the only reason why I know is b/c I used to be one of them. You have to understand, most people like that have only their cars, and that's the only thing that is important to them in life at that point, so they spend tons of money making it look "hot" and go faster, when in reality, that money is better spend somewhere else.

I used to own a Corolla that I modded very nicely. No rice, just all performance mods. I used to run it in autocross and DE's all the time. I loved that car, it handled awesome [yes, better than my 330ci] and it was fun to drive [no way near my 330ci.] Anyway, on the Corolla message board, there were guys that used to take out loans so they can turbo and supercharge their cars, and that spend every last dime on their Corolla's. Chrome rims, new bumpers, blah blah blah...but that's all they cared about, so I guess I can't blame them.

I am not clued up with Honda motors so I admit to not having a clue what an Accord can and can't do. All I know is it wasn't stock, at least not aurally/visually. And hey, he started it :)

Can't do much...In my 330ci I would have to try to beat an Accord V6 6-speed...they are pretty quick, but no competition for you! ;)

I don't know what they expect. To win or something? Why the sour grapes after his loss?

If I picked on an M3 and lost I wouldn't cry about it because I know I'd have no shot anyway.
