Alright So i went to a phillies game with wcm3 and it was a good time, we got thinking and came up with the idea to have a cruise/meet ending at a phillies game, maybe a day game or somthing.

I think a night game might be better because we could plan this for one of their college nights where they have dollar dogs.

So here's what i was thinking about doing.... Meet up shoot the shit, get down there about 2 hours before the game buy tickets- 13$ a peice, go back to the parking lot and tailgate have a good time hopefully enjoy some good weather. then after the game we can grab some steaks or hit up south street for some 190 octanes (if your over 21) Or we could do a quick shoot at the art museum- thats always fun.

But I deff think this would be a good time, Ill get more organized if you guys really are interested, like pick a game and get an itinerary(mis-spelled?) that will work for everyone who wants to go.

So just let me know if you want to do this.....


*Date* May 11- 20 are all home games/ we just need to pick the best date that works for everyone
-4:30 (for those in the west chester area) meet at wawa on route 1
-5:30 meet up in parking lot across from citizens bank park- I will give directions once i have them
-7:00 Clean up the tail gating trash and make our way to the ticket counter- cheap seats are about 15 dollars
-(time pending on the game) leave the lot and head to get some steaks or to the art museum for some pictures.

this is what i have planned so far let me know if this sounds good to you guys!

Yeah i live in valley forge/phoenixville- i live right on top of valley forge mountain, And that might be me but i havent been up that way for a while now.

depending on my work schedule (which changes from week to week) I could be up for this.. as long as it is warm. I am done with this winter stuff

Alright so now that there is enough interest here i think we should pick a date, The weather is going to get warm in about 2 weeks. the first home game after that is on the 24th of april, the phills are playing that nationals. This is not a dollar dog night, the next dollar dog night is on may 15th. BUt never the less i think it would be a good time and 2 weeks away will be more then enough time to generate some hype, get more people, and make it a very fun time.

The game begins at 7:05 tuesday night. I am thinking we should plan to meet up around 430 if you are in the west chester area to get there and into the lot around 530. Where we can all meet up (for those of you who do not plan to meet up in west chester), I will let you know what lot we should park in, a week prior with directions on how to get into the chosen lot. From there i think some tail gating is in order BYOB, Ill bring some to share as well. Then after the game we can do somthing meet related like drive to pats (which will be crowded as hell after the game) or we could take a small cruise to the art museum and ahve a photoshoot up on the stairs always a good time.

I will post the cliffs of this tentitive plan to my first post- if there are any conflicts with your schedule and this one let me know well try to work somthing out. Thanks for all the interest, spread the word around, it would be crazy fun if we could make this big. Thanks again!

i think it may be better to go with a May date, as if we are tailgating it may be better if its warmer. it doesnt necessarily have to be a dollar dog night, because I have a little mini-grill and charcoal and im sure others do. cookout/beerout for the bimmer meet lol

Okay so with graduations and mothers day and finals and everything else I think the best first available date would be Sunday may 20th. the game is at 1:35 and is against toranto. that would work well because we could meet up nice and early and have a nice long meet/ tailgate- longer then what we would have for a weekday night game. maybe get there at 11 take some pics with the stadium in the back ground and then have some beers and make some new friends..... and hold hands..... and sing the songs we like to sing.

I know nobody is afraid of it YET. and i think the fact that i had 18's on the backand 17 on the front made my car just bit slower or off. my reasoning is the 18's spin slower then the 17's to go the same speed- not sure how that affects anything but it sounded good in my head. ill see you at the high school challenge boy.

lol Although the wheels do have to do with speed it is mostly off the line, if we raced from a stop the fact that your wheels are slightly bigger creates less torque, going from 40mph me 3 cars behind you and pulling about 4 or 5 in front of you has nothing to do with 2 18 inch wheels :stickoutt also seeing as my rear wheel/tire combo is taller then your 18s with tires anyways and I was rubbing on the inside roof of my tire wall. hahah it was a good time, Rob got into the semi finals being 4th out of some 300+ I did pretty decent finally got knocked out towards the later round, but everyone was running slow because of the heat and because maple grove is crap lol.

I ended up staying up all night instead of going to be, then finally went to bed when I got back at 7:30 that afternoon, finally woke up now :eek: lol Mike and Greg came to check it out, it was a good time though.

Thanks for updating the list, i was in a huge rush to get out of the office, just wanted to update as quickly as possible. I go to the ritas on 23 in p-ville, im not totally sure where 724 is, sounds very familiar though.

I think im gonna start a new thread for this meet tomorrow with all the right dates and the updated list- hopefully we can get some more to come and have an all out party.

Oh the game is no longer the 28th- somewhere in these 5 pages it was brought up that it was memorial day and hardly anyone could go so i changed it to the 29th. ill start a new thread to day with all right info and list of people who are going. then we can discuss where to meet and what time.

For real all those companies make a killing on like a 1000 percent mark-up. Pizza is better- i think it costs about alil over a dollar to make a pie- they sell them for 8-16 dollars:eyecrazy. BUt you cant complain they got some good water ice. Its just like aunite ann's too it cost nothing to make a pretzel they charge you 2 dollars for one. you can get a philly pretzel for 50 cents and the people selling them are still making a profit, auntie ann's is a gold mine.

Oh ps, im gonna try and make a thread with some misc. parts for sale. I have the oem exhaust off of my m3, a bmw car cover for a 2 door, and 5 motorsport wheels, they need tires and one wheel has a large dent, it held air for a really long time- didnt notice it until i took it off and i painted them black last october- they came out very nice- been in my garage for about 3 months now.

Exhaust- 80 obo- it has about 100k on it- ill clean it up good as new for you.
Car cover-150 obo- like new it is attached to a bag that it rolls up in- the bag has 3 holes in it they are smaller then a pencil in diameter.
and Oem Motorsports- 350 obo- they are the ones in my sig i painted them black and polished the lip but if you want these and you want them in black no lip ill put a fresh finish on them.

Im kinda hoping to get rid of these locally so no shipping comes into play. I have full intent of sticking this in the classifieds but i dont have pics yet and i wanted to give the philladelphians a jump on it. let me know what you think ill get pictures upon request.

thats funny you brought that up, every friday some lady brings pretzels into work- i always thought she sepnt a ton of money buying 3-4 big boxes of philly pretzels but here i come to find out she spends 3 dollars to feed our enitre company pretzels.

Yeah im at work right now :(, i work 3 days a week in fort washington and go to school the other 2 days. Is that the business radio? i think im taking my out, im trying to sell a bunch of stuff on my car to make up for a week out of work- im going on vaca in 2 weeks.

The CD43 is the BMW Business in-dash CD player. It looks 100% stock but it's made by blaupunk (spelling??) instead of the stock Alpine and sounds awesome! I have pics but I'm about to go out for a ride. They'll be up later
