I need a new mechanic in LAS Vegas. I live in Henderson, so Summerlin or Northwest or N Las Vegas won't work. I have to tow my E30 since it's not street legal.
Must be reliable, professional, dependable and with accesible prices ($90/hour or less). If they have experience with race cars even better.
Start your list and why.
Thank you!!

Check out PPR auto, they located off E. Charleston & Mojave. They charge about $60-$70.00. There number is 794-0123. There website is www.pprauto.com (http://www.pprauto.com) contact Ralph or Peter, they're the owners of PPR auto. They've done a lot of work on my car and done work on many of the others here in Vegas such as T.J., John, Marq, James, etc.. Also one more thing i could be a hair off on the hourly charge but i know they dont charge no more than 90 an hour i can tell you that but I know a BMW shop on Industrial right in front of Fashion Show mall thats really old but charges up the ass but I'm not sure if they're good on performance BMW work like PPR is.

Brian is there main mechanic. He's the one that's really good at forced induction, etc... and all kinds of major performance work because I've seen the cars they've done and built such as supercharged 5 series, e30 w/ 5 series swap, completely rebuild from bottom & up on turbo e36 m3 that blew to pieces.

If you're coming from Henderson your best bet is to take I-95 westbound and get off Charleston and once you get off you'll make a left from where your coming from off the freeway and be heading towards Golden Nugget almost just not quite. The intersection of Charleston and Mojave isn't a huge and big intersection so you gotta be careful you dont pass it but i can say this you'll see a big lot section of mobile homes on your left hand side at the light just to give you some advice of where they're off of.

Yeah I was just at PPR today, and they were rebuilding the engine of a race-prepped E36. Really great shop and friendly people.

Hey John what color is the turbo e36 m3 they're working on? Is it black? If so thats the great monstor e36 m3 w/ GT40r turbo kit with a lot more mods..

Ralph let me go into the garage and showed me around and showed me all the cars they were working on. I remember a long time ago when i was getting my crank position sensor a long time ago like over a year ago was when i saw the e30 w/ the 5 series motor swap going in.

Holy smokes that E36 looks insane... Those are WORK wheels it looks like, if not WORKS they're Racing Hart but they sure do look like WORK wheels which you'll hardly ever see BMW's running them mainly Hondas & Nissans, cant wait to see that car done and would like to see the owner bring that car out.

Looked like there garage was pretty busy when you was there Marq.. I wonder how long you had to wait but usually no matter how busy they're, Brian and other mechanics are always doing outstanding job at doing there job quick but good.

I can definitely tell that, that car is a 100% full track car alright. Was it caged because I cant really tell with the window tint and dark lighting but what i'm trying to figure out still is what exhaust is that he's running because its not Supersprint, REmus, or Dinan, hmm..

Yeah, I heard about them, is there a Nathan working there as well? The Desert BMW people recommended this shop, but they said Boulder and Mohave, but it's in between Boulder and Charlerston. Nice neighborhood.
If they are working on those E36's, then they can work on my Spec E30 race car.
Thanx guys!!
