I think it's getting close to the time that I need to move on. One day I want to keep it forever, the next day I'm bored with it.

It's not perfect, but it's fast as shyt yo.

Spread the word, $25k firm.

Sell it to meathead. That way you can buy it back in a month when you decide you shouldn't have sold it :dunno

Even though it's faster than an E46M3, I think I'm going to go for one of those. :dunno

I'm going to put some work/money into my 325 and run the piss out of it. I just can't put myself to running the M3 anymore.

It's been fun, and I love the car, but it's just getting close to the time to move on.

Honestly, if I didn't owe money on it, I'd keep it.

I'm not buying a C5 and the C6's are too expensive right now, plus I do like having that backseat sometimes.

John V

I guess you do have the welding skills to fix the horrible exhaust note of the E46, which is what really ruins the car.

Are you feeling OK? You just mentioned the E46 and didn't call it a fat pig? :)

John V

No worries, it's still a fat pig but since Doby gave up racing it doesn't matter too much anymore.

Well it'll probably take a really long time to find a 2002 Imola Red with black cloth with no sunroof 6 spd that didn't have the motor replaced yet.

Maybe some info on the M3 is in order if you want to sell it to someone outside the few people in the MD/VA clique?

vjlax18
04-06-2007, 01:48 PM
I haven't had time to type up the info yet. I'll make a formal post in the ForSale forum soon.

Put a Boser hood on it and one of the West Chester kids will get their parents to buy it for them.

Put one of those Euro plates on the front, too, and make sure you tell everyone it has an S54 in it! :buttrock:

You mean an e46m3 for STU right? :cool

I think you will find many more white S54's without a sunroof and cloth interior. I've seen at least 4 a year and maybe a couple of silver ones. I saw a white one a few months ago -- it was a 2001, six-spd, xenons, and that's it. No moonroof, no power seats, no CD changer, etc. Probably as light as you could order one. The person was asking $26K for it with 35K. All recalls were done on it as well.

That almost perfectly describes Ken's first M3, except I think his was an '01.

He says he had a bear of a time selling it.

Do the West Chester members start threads and make fun of you guys for no reason?

This whole thing is getting really really old.

And TonkpilsNeon to PM us all about the meet beforehand, and represent Teckademics! Maybe he can hook us up with some free STICKERS!

Come one now. Everyone knows there is no such thing as Teckademics anymore. I think the whole thing disappeared sometime around 2004.

vjlax18

Stickley built S52 with just about anything you can do to it. GC suspension, eibach sways, custom mid-pipe, aa catback, 3.46 40% diff, flares with 18x9.5F and 18x11R with 265/295 tires. The seats are original and that's about it...

I agree with you Bren. I think the E46 M3 is a gorgeous car that can be driven daily ... but, looking at the new one :puke: ...

Plus, if JV thinks the E46 M3 is a pig, and if the numbers in this post are true -- it's 3650#

Doby,

I wish you would've taken it to the drag strip with the new motor. You never had a chance to do that. :(

I would've loved to seen your car in action and see what it actually does.

What does everything mean? Higher compression or just cams and all the bolt-ons?
