Hey all, I was looking at doing some cheap upgrades to my suspension. I have the factory e46 sport suspension, and the shocks/springs are still in great shape. I see the AutoX coming up next week and plan on entering... Would the best upgrade for me be anti-sway bars? I'd like to keep this adventure under $400. I see the eibach kit has 27mm fronts, and 21mm rears.... Anyone have any experience with these? Any other recommendations? I plan on doing the H&R cupkit next year... but I also dont know what the stock sport diameters are :(

I put on the H-Sport hollow adjustables, they have been fantastic! They are fairly cheap and install easily.

i say drive the car stock first and learn to master it stock first. then move on to springs/shocks. depending on how you want the car to handle, you will have to experiment. high spring rates will negate the need for stiffer sway bars but you will basically have race car suspension and your street ride will suffer. softer springs mean stiffer sway bars.

but mike has a pretty good setup. nice drop. might want to do what he did.
