Just yesterday one guy sold his M5 model 91 in less than 2000 US$ thinking it is manual 535... the guy who bought it came to my workshop for checking the car is great I paid him 3000 US$ and he didn't sell it

Lots of people really dont know what they have. I suppose its better that he thought his M5 was 535. Some people out there think that their 540s are M5s!

Imagine that let down!

a lot of people just refer to all 6 cyl cars as V6's. Its wrong and a lot of people dont really care to know the difference.

if i had a dollar for every time somebody said to me, "hey, is that an m5?" i'd have... like enough for a twelve pack. seriously, people think it is.

but you've also gotta realize, most people don't drive by a car and scrutinize it they way we do. i can still discern a gli from a jetta, or an amg from a benz... i drive by any german car, and i want to know what it is...

in fact, back when i was doing vws, every girlfriend i had was trained to know mki, mkii, mkiii, mkiv, gli, gti and so on. they'd say "hey, sweet gli," before i even saw it. these days i don't have vws, so my last girlfriend got e30, e34, etc...

my point is, you can't expect everyone to be as passionate as us.

This is not a legitimate ad. There was another ad with a far different and more accurate description with the same picture not too long ago.

I just find it weird that this guy dropped some cash on some dinan stuff, knows how much hp this thing makes.... but calls it a V6. I dunno.

This thing is like 15 minutes from where I live, perhaps I should check it out.

I dont get the m5 question much, but I cant begin to tell you the amount of times people have asked me if it is a 2000+ vehicle. I guess just because I keep it clean coupled with the classy body style.

Anyways, I remember seeing that picture before. Not sure if it was the same seller or not though...
