I thought I would let you guys know that Slidewize Drifting is putting on an event this Saturday, April 7th at Thunderhill Raceway (http://www.thunderhill.com/) in Willows, CA.
I haven't been there yet and I'm not sure about the crowd, but I'm definitely interested in getting some seat time with this type of driving.
Apparently there were very few people recently (<10 last time), so you get a lot of time.
It is non-competitive, for-fun only on an autocross style course. There used to group drive/work rotations as mentioned on the site, but apparently not anymore.
Basic tech/safety (at link below in FORMS) and helmet required with tech done there.
The cost is $100 pre-registered by end-of-day on Thursday (call below) or $120 at the event, both payable there.
