I've been working on my IP build for months and I finally got the car on track this past weekend for a shake down.

The results were mixed as I'm learning the new suspension and working out the bugs. I have a slight coolant leak to fix and I need to sort out the suspension settings. Overall, it was a great relief to have a running car and I'm looking forward to doing a few races this year with BMWCR and NASA. :)

Here are a few pics:

Is that splitterJust to double check, if you look from above, does the splitter come out less than 1" from the farthest point of the bumper/lip?

Looks too clean ;)

Calling Jay Hudson, calling Jay Hudson!! Please welcome VinnyMac to the Black Racecar Club!!!

(Inside joke Vinny, my racecar used to be black also - Jay always said it was like having your own personal spa experience each time you get in a black racecar during the summer months)

I thought it was three inches? Either way the car looks great! Good luck this season! :D

Splitters are free providing they do not exceed maximum body width, do
not extend rearwards past the front axle centerline, do not extend more
than 3” past the farthest part of the front spoiler or bumper, and follow
the general outline of the spoiler. Installed devices must be consistent
with the spirit of the original design of the car such as those presented
by aftermarket sources. Dive plates are allowed.

legal to me.

Ah, looked at the stock class by accident, my bad.

Definitely legal, should be a nice easy off the shelf setup for Prepared, just try not to offroad too much ;)

I would suggest taping over that gap between the lip and the bumper though.

Vinnymac-

Who did your cage? I'm curious about cage fabricators in the MO area.

Thanks. I have a pile of decals and stickers that need to go on the car. I'll work on that after next weekend's track outing.

I'm not planning to do any extra graphics beyond the required decals by BMWCR and NASA.

The vinyl will go on after this next weekend. I have to get all my required decals in hand before I lay it all out to see what will go where.

Thanks agian for doing such a great job on the cage.:buttrock

Does this mean my car is cool even though it's not a BMW?

I guess we have to call it a "cool" car now that it has the IZZY'S touch.
