I'd vote for the Spec E30 set up (Bilstein Sport, H&R Race and IE sways).

..depends on your desires, goals etc.....blah blah blah but.......

I agree on the Spec e 30 set up...I run it except w/ Koni SA's....which give some adjustability. Its a great , cheap, forgiving set up.......... do your bushings and perhaps bars......and camber plts....and your done.

I have really been considering the Spec E30 set-up, I was just worried it may be to stiff for street duty. Because my 911 has a very stiff "track" suspension set-up and can be a reall pain on the street. Do you guys still street your cars?

Spec E30 - because you just never know where the car will end up...

Progressive rate springs, factory damper valving - not too rough at all.

I drive my spec'd car to the Glen...over 3 hrs....its not comfy...but its fine, especially at 80 mph on a smooth hgwy!!!! For a DD.....it would grate on me for sure. But for a track day car..the spec set up is very capable and "decent" for street drives. Just say compromise over and over....

I don't think the spece30 suspension is very stiff at all. I don't think I would have an issue driving my car everyday with the H&R Races and Bilsteins that I have on there now.

+1

I drove my SpecE30 suspension to CMP in SC (3 1/2 hours)...and it wasn't too painfully uncomfortable.

My M3 is my daily driver, so I'm use to a somewhat jaring ride. I think if it compares with that I'll be fine. I'm going to try and find someone near me that has the spec setup and try and catch a ride in it to see first hand.

I drove my SE 30 nearly 6 hrs to VIR and back. The only thing annoying about it is the noise level and lack of radio. The ride really isn't that bad. It will also depend heavily on what seats you have. If you're running the stockers, no problem.
