no max was seriously down on power. I could pull hard on him with my bone stock 3.0.

Got ya. I just saw him keeping up with a DMod E30 and a few Mustangs, so I assumed he couldn't be down that much. 100hp just sounds like a lot to be down and still accelerating with other cars.

Bryan, I could be mistaken but those Stangs (old body style) are not highly powered if they're in the CMC class. I think they're required to run stock engines. According to some of the class leaders I met back in Feb, they're not big hp cars due to class rules.

So my mechanics found that my throttle position sensor is only registering 68% at full throttle, and my wheel speed sensor is bad. Grrr....

Max: Make sure they make your speed signal sensor replaceable for the future. PM me when you get a chance.

a little OT, but what would of happened if that stock car or mustang hit you, liability for repairs wise?

it's racin'. everyone gets to fix their own car.

rule number one - never bring anything to the track you can't afford to ball up and walk away from.

not sure. I didn't have my camera hooked up so i can't say. I don't remember who else was around me either. I had a great view though so it would have been someone around me. It was impressive looking to say the least. Parts were just flying everywhere.

Matt, sorry, I was too far back to catch you on video.

NineK, edited with I Movie (Mac Rules!)

Bimmerracer3, in racing, there are two types of drivers; the ones that have wrecked their cars, and the ones that will wreck their cars. :D

But seriously, it's club racing, and everyone wants to go home with themselves and their cars in one piece (except some of the American Iron guys!). There were plenty of single-car incidents, but metal-on-metal seems to be quite rare.

Wonger, since this is "gentleman's racing," if you punted Chip, wouldn't that mean you aren't a gentleman? So what would that make you?:lol

Very nice video.

I think I passed you on 58 going home. Beautiful car.
