Guys, I'm in the Long beach area, near the Cal State univ and I need a skilled welder to cleanly weld in some Ground control rear sway bar reinforcement gussets at the end of this week. I have the welder and everything, my brother is new to welding and is not confident in his skill when it comes to suspension stuff.

I will have the car ready on jack stands, rear sway bar removed, and area for welding cleaned up so let me know your price

Sounds like you're all kinda setup already. Have your bro give it a shot.

My cousin did mine and when I was watching him it pretty much looks like soldering, just with something a tad hotter. I'm not trying to oversimplify welding, but it was pretty straightforward. Just set up the gussets and weld each side. Strip the paint on the areas of the subframe to minimize the sparking. Just think it through a few times and go for it.
