Well,my car was governed for 245km,but since I put my software,and cheaters into it,its no longer governed...I estimated when myself,a porsche and an Acura TL hit the speed trap(cops were just setting it up),that I was doing around 240,managed to slow down to about 160km when we blew through it,then its everyman for himself(slowest gets caught),when myself and the porsche totally left the TL in our rearviews,I estimated I was doing around 275km(ish).Well thats what my buddy estimated(who was scared poopless)LOL.I still had some pedal left,but traffic was getting really close...really fast !!!

that would be a crazy adrenaline rush. I went 200 in my dads e46 but i've done 170 in the e30.

i went about 265kmish aswell, with w-rated tires. the ball joints were very worn though at the time so it vibrated like a washboard:D pretty sweet actually.

I raced acouple of rice rockets last summer going out to the lake(Seba Beach),and I passed them before they slowed right down because of traffic getting close real fast...lol.Then I slowed down and they waved at me and gave me the thumbs up sign...lol.

233 kph in the Bimmer and 250 in the STi (Bimmer ran out of steam and the STi was governed)

I did 275kph on the sea-to-sky highway on wednesday (the long uphill bit half-way to squamish). Had to shut it down, due to the fear of losing my licence.

Governer stops me at 215 but it could definitely go more.

you mean 255kmph? aka 158.45MPH or aprox. the 155 limit put on many euro cars.

Do you have a cabin at Seba Beach? I used to live in a little cabin at Lake Isle. 10 minutes away.

Yeah,we bought a cabin with lake frontage,is great for the kids,I just bought a 35' bayliner,so I have to get a pier built.How did you like it at lake isle??I 've heard some good things about it.

I guess it's not bad. I've seen the lake less than 10 times when I lived there over a 9 month period. I was going to school in Emonton, so I was gone from 6 am to 11 pm every day.

What do lake fronts go for there,do you know.We sold lake front at jackfish,and made a small fortune.

Not sure what they go for now. My parents sold it three years ago and made $20k in 9 months. Not really worth it, other than bettering yourself in the Banks' eyes to get into a better house. Of course now it's probably worth almost twice as much.

Z3- 212kph, top down summer way up North. I kept that speed for about 5 minutes- best drive ever! No cars in sight.

Mini- 180, no biggie.

540- 210, again up North- smooth as hell.

645- 190, on winter tires- felt like crap. I did 180 today (sumer tires) and it felt very nice and planted. This car is easily the fastest I've ever owned. I rarely bother dropping a gear to pass b/c the torque is soo good. The power up high is very good too. I couldn't imagine flogging this car, you'd have to be one hell of a driver with not very much trafic.

275 on sea to sky? wow, how's construction on the sea to sky now? I remember the only good part was before squamish was the section just after Eagle Ridge (two lane s-curves all the way through, newly paved)

The hcabin was like the third house from the lakefront. Literally 30 secon walk form the lake. Right now I live on an acreage in Pigeon Lake. It's a 5 minute drive to the next beach, you can pretty much see the lake. I think they stopped allowing people to build on lakefronts, which is why they are so expensive now(?). My father is a realtor, I can ask him. O ya, lots of snow here at Pigeon. I hate this place with a passion. It snows every day, it's not even funny anymore. :cool

The old man and I rented a Viper for an hour down in Vegas a few years ago. Made a bee line for Interstate 15 out into the desert. Got 'er up to 165 mph when the hood popped up! (I guess we didn't latch it when we were drooling over the engine back at the rental shop) Needless to say there was a lot of smoke as I locked up the tires and looked to my left to use the solid white line as a reference to where I was.

Threw out my underwear when I got back to the hotel.

250 km/h in 530d sedan, going to Oktoberfest near Munchen.
