I was reading an articile on BMW introducing a new 6 series. Anyone have any info on this? I heard the car would be based on the 5 series chassis and eventually get a M5 engine, sounds damn cool to me. Anyone know of a time frame for this car to go into production???

I heard a release date of 2003. I have seen computer generated pictures of the car and I'm not sure if I like it yet or not. I too have heard that it will eventually get the M5 engine but I've also heard of it coming out as a 635 or 640. Maybe someone else knows more?

God, I hope it's not too expensive... always wanted the 635 or M6 when I was younger... hope it doesn't look too ugly.. noticed that BMW's hired some weird designers cuz their cars are starting to look really strange in the front..

Sorry, I don't have pics of the car, but it looks kinda funky. Think of a 4th gen Prelude (92-97?) w/ a Z3 front end. That's what it looks like to me.
