I think the title says it all. But I am looking into getting into auto-x. I will obviously need a helmet. I do not want to buy one from the net as I'd like to do a test fit first. I live in south Chicago suburbs. Can someone help me out or point me in the right place?

check on the windy city board, maybe someone else knows someplace closer to you. I did hear that the autobahn country club sells some simpson helmets. you could also contact windy city and find who has the loaner helmets to go try them on before the event.

Agreed. Northstar has a good selection.

I might go up there this weekend. Anyone else has any other suggestions?
