I finally picked my car up from my mechanic...still has some issues I have to figure out but it feels extremely strong on boost and fine to drive....

I'm heading back home from Louisville when a modified WRX Sti pulls up next to me. He has a full 3" exhaust, upgraded tune, larger FMIC and someone else that i couldn't hear from across the car....we did a run from 50 mph and it was just no contest. I just kept pulling and pulling, shut her down at about 110 and he was several car lengths behind. I thought maybe it would be closer. I let him catch up and we gave each other the two thumbs up.

Not too exciting to read I'm sure, but it was great to get back on boost!

Why would you think it would be closer if you have a gt35r? Your turbo is twice the size of his.

It's not the size - it's how you use it ;)

I didn't know if he had a stock turbo....he had all the other gizmos to make it look like he had something serious under neath his carbon fiber hood...

The funny thing is, a couple months ago, he did the ricer flyby when I was taking an exit when he had ample opportunity to give it a go and I wanted to see how I'd do....and that was with my 20g.

Good run! I think I expected that outcome, I just wonder how my T60-1 will fair. :evil2

a local guy here has the GT35R on his 328 and he hits full boost at 35-3600rpm. its very little lag though. i'd say 1.5 sec. or so.

feels nice when it hits you though.

havent got mine running yet but im sure it will be quite similar.

Lag is kind of a cool feeling, the anticipation for the boost hit.......

I don't mind the lag....it's like the calm before the storm. It allows me to brace myself.
