THis is such a cool photo... I wish i had a hard top :(

i swear i almost bought that car before he got it.

i looked at a 96 328 morea/tan auto with hardtop in january 04 but decided to pass because it would have sacrificed too many of my must-haves (black, 5 speed, facelift) for the ubercool hardtop.

i asked him about it a while back, and he bought it sometime after i looked at it, at a dealership not too far away. oh well, i guess we will never know.

ive got a hardtop for my car now. i had to buy it off of a different car though - mine didn't come from the factory with one.

i was just saying that while i was searching for 328s to buy, im pretty sure i came across that particular one, but decided to pass on it. The hardtop is just fantastic, it'll transform not only the overall look of the car but improve the handling too....

as a hardtop owner, i believe that last part is completely false.

I have to agree with Carly.

I would imagine the opposite would happen. it doesn't secure in such a way to provide significant bracing to the structure. if anything, I'd imagine it adds nothing more then weight. :dunno

I have mine on & i can deff tell it makes the car "feel" heavier & I get the A-pillar leak when it rains heavy(if it ever sees the rain).

I'm the owner of the said hardtop...:D
