I have an OEM alarm out of a 1993 325 or 318, i dont remember. What i have is the brain, LED and glass breakage sensor already mounted in a rectangle to fit into your center console next to the cig. lighter, and wire harness. There is NO remote. This alarm requires a 3 button remote and siren. This alarm will work with pre 1995 E36's. You should be able to get any 3 button remote and program it to the unit, searching the forum will show you how. The led does not seem to work as i have put power directly to it and it did not light up, you can just splice on a new one for it to work or just dont worry about it.

Alarm FCC Id: A269ZUA070
Part #: 82.11.1.467.756
$80 shipped Edit: obo 2ndEdit: 65shipped

Can you please dig through your user manual folder and see if you can find the original instruction manual for the alarm? I need one of those...

Sry guys, no remote, no siren, no instructions. What you see is what you get.

So wait, I can program this to work with any 3 button fob or do I have to get a genuine BMW one? I've already got the siren and LED, no idea why the PO had the rest of the system removed... :shifty

keylessrides.com sells aftermarket remotes for the Rf alpine systems. this looks almost jsut like the ones used for e34s except the console plate

I cant find an OEM system reasonably priced.

I have a horn for an alarm. It isnt the bmw one but it works just as well. Only difference is it doesnt plug right into the quick connects, you jsut need to splice the wire and connect it. PM me if interested.
