THE ROLL BAR HAS BEEN SOLD - Thanks!

I have a custom fabricated bolt-in roll bar that's currently out of my '99 E36 M3 coupe. The fit is super snug up against the headliner and has a removable diagonal/crossbar. It was made by Competition Cages.

$450 local pick only (shipping might be possible though). If interested, please PM or email at dbbmwm3@yahoo.com

This is a great bar for those with interiors who want added safety for HPDE's and those that want to compete in time trials where roll bars are mandatory. Also, the rollbar allows you to safely (and properly) mount 6 point harness shoulder straps. With harnesses, you'll be move around less and spend more energy driving versus fighting your body in turns.

The camera mount is not included. I will also repaint the bar any color the buyer wants if they don't like it as is.

Winston's a stone's throw from Raleigh :)

It's custom fabricated and it really does fit like a glove.

Main hoop runs along the b-pillar and mounts to sandwiched plates on the floor. The rear tubes mount on the fender wall and again sandwiched between mounting plates.

Basically, the mounting pints are pretty standard for bolt-in roll bars.

I'm repainting the roll bar silver this weekend (my entire interior is being painted silver), but you can easily change the color with a good can of spray paint.

I've gone and taken a look at this. Its a good roll bar for those of us who aren't Hans Stuck. If I can make up my damn mind about my car's plans I will definately be in touch soon. This should get snagged up pretty quickly tho so FREE BUMP!

I'm getting my cage built sooner than I expected, so by roll bar is now off my car and ready to go. I'll take pics this weekend.

If you don't like silver (or black), a good can of spray paint can change it to any color you want.

NOTE: camera mount is not included

Also... I would gladly repaint the bar for the buyer - just let me know what color you'd like it to be.

Well, it does come apart and I could probably get it into a big box. Interested in paying for shipping?

any pics of it in the car? Im still trying to visualize where these rear mouning points are. does it cut through the seat or pannels? I ussually have had cages that went through the back dash and int the trunk-down to the chassis.

It mounts to the wheel wells...behind the "side" cushions of your rear seats. I had my side cushions notched by a local interior shop to fit around my rollbar downtubes on my old street M3.

Thanks! Yep, that's exactly where it mounts and I also had my stock "side" cushions notched and they look like they came from BMW that way. Those are also for sale too!

I'll try to work up a shipping cost in the next few days.

Unfortunately, I just dropped off my car to have a full cage put in this morning and I don't have any pictures of it installed in my car.
