There is also a red one in the US with under 3000 miles. It was at Left Coast 8 Fest a few years ago but I don't seem to have a picture of it.

it's amazing to hear about these low-mileage cars, but at the same time it's kind of a shame to think their owners have had them all these years w/out using them in the way they were intended-- driving long distances at high speeds. i guess if they're looking at their cars as an investment it makes sense, it's just a different view than mine... this is also coming from someone who put more miles on his rabbit gti in one week than either of these two 8s have driven in their whole lives...
