2000' V8 vortec GMC Yukon XL vs. 2000 2.0L 4 cylinder VW jetta...
what can i say... both our cars were automatic, he's raced me against my bimmer, blew him away EVERY single time. Well it was his time to redeem himself. He revs his engine, neuspeed P-flo intake and Eurosport exhaust.... mine i jus' let at idle... no showin' off "yet"...
well, light turns green, we both stomp on the gas. very very close race, but i end up about 1/2 a car ahead at about 70 mph....
it was a nice open stretch of road which he thought he could take my american engineering on... well, nope.
at 70 i backed off cuz i was driving a huge as truck... but i beat him, maybe not by a lot but it was fun...
this happened about 8 months ago.
