Hi All,

I did a search and came up empty...

Is there a way to have the lighter plug (in ashtray) or aux power jack in armerest set to always on? Be nice to charge my ipod or phone in the car without the key...?

Any help would be great, my 330Ci was always on in the ashtray, but my 335i is not...

Mine appears to stay on all the time. I put my dead ipod in there the other day when it was off and it was charged when I went back.

Are you talking about the in armrest one? I might have to check once more, I tried my phone in there but thought it was off...

My ashtry plug goes off with the ignition. I plug in my radar detector there and it turns off when the ignition is off.

I did buy for my last BMW the flashlight accesory plug (and use it in the new one) That is always on and I use it for my Radar Detector.

I'll try the armerest plug again when I get out of work... Hope it's contant on!

Nope, it shuts off with the ignition... :-(
