My first BMW is the one I brought home 3 days ago. 1987 M6, royal metalic blue, lotus white interior. Southern California for the past 20 yrs, drove it up to north Toronto from Detriot, what a blast! I just love this car! Ive always wanted one since they came out but could never afford it. But now they are quite reasonable. It is by far the best handling, best braking and most comfortable car I've ever owned or driven.

M-Tech packages were basically Europe's version of a "sport package" which consisted of front and rear bumpers, side skirts and body panels, rear wing, sport seats, wheel, and shift knob, and sport suspension.

'86 E30 M20 325e, modded with an '87 E30 M20 325i top end (intake, head exhaust manifold). Matched to a Dinan "e to i" chip (4,700rpm redline moved to ~6,000 rpm if I recall), this car was ready to be a beast with a 3.73:1 LSD about to go in it. Unfortunately, a blizzard and a 3/4 ton Chev driving the wrong way in my lane ended it's life far too soon.....so sad, but it was almost 11 years ago.

I called it the 327i.

This one. My 535i E34. Back in Germany we (well, my parents) used to have an early 80's 3 series. I think it was a 320i or something, not sure. It still did 230km/h+ on the Autobahn.:)
