I bought my 328xi in Dec/06, so the temperature has been basically below 60 degrees since then. Well today the temp. hit 76(f) degrees and I amazed how much smoother the engine and transmission are runnning, it s like a different car.

Really, the engine and tranny were running is such
"Silky Smooth Synchronicty". I loved it.

One would think that a German car would be more adept at colder temperatures?

I think I have a few more weeks before it gets above 70 degrees over here so I'm looking forward to that. On the other hand, I use to have a e39 in Las Vegas, NV, and I tell you what it did not like those 100+ degree summers. I remember someone mentioning that German cars did not handle the heat well and I didn't believe it until I experienced it first hand.

Glad I don't have to worry about that up in the Pacific Northwest.
