I just picked up an 07' 550i and will be installing the phone cradle for a Motorola Razr V3. Anyone done this before and do you have any installation tips/pics

Instead of installing the cradle why don't you jsut go blue tooth and put the phone in the center console, or wherever you want. Saves you time and money.

I am looking to get the benefit of the link to the shark fin antenna as the razr is notoriously poor when it comes to reception due to the built in antenna location.

I am looking to get the benefit of the link to the shark fin antenna as the razr is notoriously poor when it comes to reception due to the built in antenna location.I've never heard of that. The only eject box I know of for the E60 is for the Motorolla CPT9000 phone.

Either way, you have to program the TCU after installing an eject box.
