This sounds great... especially since my baby is from the Chicago area. Looks like a great venue, whats the entry fee to attend? didn't see a mention of that on the site.

I wouldnt mind a bit. Nor would the rest of the group. I believe all of the cars showing up are in various stages of restoration. Mine is in pretty good shape, but, me being critical, I would say I have a looooong way to go to get where I need to be.

What is Klassische Technik?
Its meaning is "Classic Technology". This meet is to show respect to those cars that have brought us to where we are today.

Whos invited?
Everyone who owns and loves classic european cars. So please bring your classic out of storage and drive it down.

The meet is rapidly approaching...and for those 5ers who aren't up for making the drive to TN for 5er fest, this is a local meet option you don't want to miss! I have received the sponsorship products from Leatherique already :)

The meet pays tribute to the classics and our sponsors were chosen carefully to pay tribute to the cars we own and continue to love. the more the merrier! it'd be great for you guys from WI to caravan down. there are some Euroteknik members from WI that are on the fence about coming as well. if anything, it's worth it just to get professional shots done of your car :) the photographer we have coming is AMAZING!

also, if you guys are interested in committing to the PDR, let me know ASAP so I can get the best rates possible for the day :)

Hi all,

This is Mike Maravilla - one of the co-founders of the Klassische
Technik meet. I just wanted to pass along this reminder that the meet
is this Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Millenium Charhouse & Banquets in
Darien, IL. Thusfar, we have 22 registered cars and many more who
have expressed interest - even those from out of state!

I have received all the Leatherique products/discount coupons that
will be raffled off, the Abrahams Motorsport merchandise is on its
way, and the other sponsorship details with A&L Autobody and
Reflection Auto Glass are set! You will be able to see the
workmanship of the sponsors at the meet on various cars.

Unfortunately, the Paintless Dent Removal cannot happen on-site, but
what I will do is take pictures of the damage for the PDR guy - no set
prices can be determined just from the number of cars interested, but
the damage itself. He is roughly estimating $35/panel on average,
which is GREAT.

Despite the possibility of rain, JDMOTO photography will be there, so
make sure your cars are ready for the professional shots! If your car
needs a helping hand, the following services are available to you:
