mitchelrl 03-27-2007, 09:36 AM I can be reached via email all day on my blackberry mitchelrl@gmail.com, I don't have time to check this during the day. You can still PM me, but my inbox will be full soon and I won't be able to check it until later tonight at least.
Dispatch20 03-27-2007, 07:19 PM I'm interested, and waiting for some pics to be posted. I was about to buy new SRD's from speedware this week.
Why are you selling your SRD setup? Were you unable to get them installed correctly? You had posted some questions about installing the seatbelts to them like a month ago (I've been researching SRD's for a while).
CRYPTiC 03-27-2007, 07:33 PM What's the difference between the SRD and the SRD LE?
mitchelrl 03-27-2007, 10:42 PM normal SRD's have white writing and stitching, these are red.
I'm selling because this car is a daily driver and I bought these out of impulse. I really have no need for them and I could put the money elseware in my car...suspension.
mitchelrl 03-27-2007, 10:44 PM Basically, you need to modify the mat sensor and do resistors for the seatbelt sensor so you won't have the seatbelt light on. and get E30 seatbelt receptacles.
I'm on my blackberry right now, I'll post pictures tomorrow.
Buying mine will save you about 800 dollars after shipping and tax.
Dispatch20 03-28-2007, 06:36 AM In the title you said Speedware sliders and mounts. Did you mean speedware mounts and Recaro sliders (the $99'ish ones?)?
Too bad I'm in NY and will require shipping. This would save me about $425 from my total though from buying brand new. Do you have any idea what the shipping cost would be and what carrier you could use?
CABimmer 03-28-2007, 08:46 AM I just sold a set of these a few months ago. Shipping from TX to CA was about $40. The seats can easily be broken down and put in a box. I put both seats on one box and shipped out fedex.
Do these have slots for 5/6-point sub belts?

That's not too bad at all. Speedware was saying 75$ for each seat UPS (they hadn't gotten there Fedex account finalized yet).
If the seats are in very good condition, I'll take them. Dibs if you honor that.

These are your old seats I believe.
I bought them from Ashis since he decided not to install them on his integra. It was more of an impulse buy and I won't really use them as they're intended.
SG_M3 03-29-2007, 01:29 AM These are your old seats I believe.
then they are actually my old seats which I bought new from Seth Thomas.
I bought the sliders and brackets. They are recaro sliders and speedware brackets.
CABimmer 03-29-2007, 09:06 AM I didnt sell the sliders or brackets. They are on my Pole positions now.
Dispatch20 03-29-2007, 12:40 PM Any pics?
CABimmer 03-29-2007, 01:00 PM If they are my old seats. here is the thread http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=662070&highlight=recaro
mitchelrl 03-30-2007, 12:33 AM Those are them. The only difference now is that I spent close to $500 worth of brackets and sliders and cleaned them up a bit.
Dispatch20 03-30-2007, 09:58 AM I thought about snagging these seats from CABimmer back in january, but decided not too since Speedware was advertising 2 brand new SRDs for $1000. The seats also looked a little beat with holes and broken parts.
Since then Speedware has upped the two seats to be $1200 for the pair. Hmmm.

Holes and broken parts? "the hole" is about the size of a pencil lead, you wouldnt even see it if it wasnt pointed out. and there was no broken parts. These seats were in very good condition when I shipped them out.
Seth. They are your old seats
///36M 03-30-2007, 12:33 PM these seats got around :stickoutt
CABimmer 03-30-2007, 01:46 PM everyone that had them loved them, but moved to fixed back race seats
mitchelrl 03-30-2007, 06:31 PM the seats have been sat in twice since purchased.
the "hole" is the same. it's barely noticable.
I also replaced the knob, speedware gave me a new one for free, these are fully functional and in great shape.
Screw it, $1,050 shipped. I want these out of my living room, I'm taking a huge hit here.
Dispatch20 03-30-2007, 06:33 PM Sold.

Sounds good. I've got a lot of mods too in suspension and engine that you might want to check out if you haven't seen them.
