well I just got all the tread off my rim's and I want to get some little nicks and curb rash taken care of before I put them back on and was wondering if Wheel Connection is good??
the local Goodyear guys swear by them....but then again I live in a hick town...where backyard billy at the local muffler shop thinks him and his buddy can be "Certified BMW Mechanics" cause they help me heat and bend my exhaust pipes to fit to my headers.....but at least they are cheap...

Sadly, I think they are the only game in town concerning wheel repair. I took a bent rim (from the E30) to them. The outside finish was near perfect, but the inner rim was bent. When I picked up the rim, there were scratches all over the finish, like they clamped the rim from the wrong side. Anyway, they denied the damage. I kept raising hell until they gave in.
If you take the rim to them, inpect the rim before you drop it off.

it is the only place in town to repair wheels. when i had a wheel repaired there, they lost my tire.... 25 mins later they found it. i said, hey since you nearly lost my tire, mount and balance it free... which they did :). they also take a very very long time to repair a wheel. mine took a week and a half to repair. they arnt to bad but its the only place to get a wheel repaired unless you want to send it to texas.

They were good to me.
I had to get my wheels straigtened and they said it would cost X (X= $ i can't remeber) I said i could only pay Z (Z= Amount I could pay) and they said OK :alright the also moved tires around on my rims to counter high wear.
But some people have bad experiances.
Then agian some people are never happy.
