Hey Guys,
Driving back home last night I think I made a not so good discovery...:(! Just need some help making the proper diagnosis...
On first gear, when I'm wide open throttle, at about the 4500 - 5500RPM I can hear a grinding noise in the mid section to the rear of the car only temporarily, you can actually feel it too. The car actually feels like it looses power to the rear wheels. Is this the transmission slipping or does this sound like a differential failing? This problem became more pronounced when I added some FM M parallel replica's, I have the staggered set, so 235's in the front and 265's in the rear...more rubber means more traction...I guess that could put more pressure on the trans and diff when you step on it right??
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
