Hi all,

I have a query.

Do we have a place / site where we can find the value of a component based on the VIN or the Part Serial No?

The reason why I am asking this is because I want to find the value of the Capacitors on my Instrument Cluster which I need to change based on my last post's reply. (The values are not visible properly on them.)

Or, else can we get them from BMW itself? I wonder if they would be in a position to supply the values of these capacitors.

Any inputs would be of great help.

Appreciate your efforts.

Thanks.

I believe the site your looking for is REALOEM.COM

This is a site dedicated to all of our BMWs. It breaks down cars into make/model/year/production month/motor, and then spits out a well catorgorized listing with each area to select. You choose the area and it'll bring up the parts list with the BMW parts numbers and approximate prices.

I usually use Pelicanparts.com to order parts, as you can directly copy/paste the part number from RealOEM.com into their search section and it'll bring up the part with the modern price.

Hope thats what you needed :)
