Anyone have any experience or knowledge of this plan? As I understand it the plan follows some mortgage loans that offer a lower monthly rate for a defined period of time and then you will need to traditionally finance it when the balloon payment is due? Should I construe this as a loan or a lease? Thanks for any comments or insights.

In this type of mortgage, you don't fully amortize over the term of the note. Your payments are lower but at the end if you can't pay off the balloon, you must refinance--possibly at a higher interest rate.

This is definitely a loan, not a lease.

IMO - OC is the best option they offer. Lower monthly, but you own the car. If you want to sell it you can or you can refinance or you can have them buy it back for your baloon amount when your time is up.
