3 years ago i saw a guy who was selling a '97 850. I don't remember what letter had in the end 'i' or smth esle but one thing i know for sure it was v12 because i looked under the hood. And it was automatic. The mileage was decent.
By the way the seller looked like the drugdealer. I will not make more comments because someone will accuse me for being racist:D.
I don't care about what blue book price websites say because this is really rare car. He was asking 16k but he could drop it to 12k.
Does anybody has any idea?

I'm not so sure I would ever pay $12k for an 8 series. I would be willing to pay 18-20k even for an earlier '90s just because of the ongoing upkeep may not be what is required at that lower price. I cannot believe what I have put into mine just putting 20k miles on it. This is a wonderful car but you have to be willing to put a decent amount of money to get the performance you want from it....constantly.

I would guess the price on a '97 850 to run up into the $20K range for a good car. There were only about 50 of them and they were all special orders.

So $12K for even an average car would be good. If it has a branded title or has been horribly neglected or overheated it is buyer beware even at that price.

First $15k looked too much to me. But now I saw that actually is not. But it took years for me to understand this:D

The guy was a blackman who looked like a drugdealer. No doubt about it.
And the car had 'Georgia' plates.
Do you have any other questions sir:D?

Being a Georgian myself, as a little boy I would frolic in the fields of "green". We build the best meth labs hands down!! I am not black but I'm working on it. Just kidding, this is all in good humor.
