I am frustrated with not getting any bass to the cab of my M3 vert! i have read on other topics and forums that people have removed substantial sections of the metal that is behind the rear seat to let more bass into the front. i am guessing this metal is for support and not for making the cab quiter.:bawl soooooo

a) is this option worth exploring?

and

b) if yes, how can i be sure (especially on a convertible) i am not jeapordizing the integrity of the car?:(

any comments or suggestions will be appreciated. thanks:(

Not positive on your vert. but on my old E30 coupe there was a factory option for a hole in the medal behind your rear seat, where you would've been able to put skis through if you folded down a section of your back seat... look at the medal behind your seat from the trunk, you might see this notched rectanlge inthe middle, if you see this it can easily be cut out with a dremel, it helped a lot with mine...
