Schnell325 03-25-2007, 06:05 PM When are you buying it? ;)
Zimmy1993 03-25-2007, 07:13 PM Well, still debating between the sedan, coupe and now convertible. In any case, I'll have a 335 of some sort by this summer.
theroyalwe 03-25-2007, 07:44 PM this summer? if you want a coupe or 'vert you'd better get ordering ASAP :)
I do love the new 'verts... I'm waiting for the employee lease rate to come out for one and then I'll order it... I too fell for it after the first drive... I'm sure I could convince the lady I need another toy car :P

I can't get myself to like the cabrio roofline. Nice with the top down though. For me, I'll stick with the coupe with the sunroof open. :shifty
dlgomes 03-26-2007, 10:29 AM Got my new 335 convertible this past Friday.....looks and sounds terrific.

AZ KENNY 335I 03-26-2007, 02:11 PM I rode in one last week as well, cowl shake is almost non existent, thats a great thing.
sd203 03-26-2007, 03:45 PM Car is absolutely beautiful as a convertible.
Will show the wife tonight.
We're lucky enough to live 10 minutes from the Dealer.
Think she will approve.
Absolutely
mikesahustler 03-26-2007, 09:39 PM i know this is a stupid question but i havent been driven in one yet,
does the 335i TT have the sweet turbo sound?
like reviews say the sound is nonexistant, but if i get a trubo i want to be able to hear the power
thanks

I was doing some 'spirited' driving with our demo tonight... it has the auto with paddles and the turbo whine is certainly noticeable with the top down around 4500k rpm and up... you hear the exhaust a bit more, but I would suspect a more free-flowing intake would bring more turbo whine. either way the car sounds sweeet with the top down and running higher rpm's. M1 and M2 are fabulous and all I really needed up to about 60mph.
Gmund48 03-27-2007, 01:35 PM I have the chance to order a New 335 convertable at military pricing for Early may build and delivery
I will order a Manual with the sport package and cold weather / Metallic paint
I am also very early inline for an M3 either coupe or vert at preferential
Military Pricing
I have driven the 335 step and was blown away, I have to pull the trigger by the weekend to get the deal which includes freight back to the states
Price is well below 50 with US specs, warranty and shipped back to the states. LA
If I get one what kind of resale can I expect, I may buy an 08 Vette and
Wife says I cannot have both
can I get 50 K back out in 6 months I take fantastic care of my cars and
it would have less than 8K on her stateside Warranty is fully transferrable
with all maintainance ?
Am I Safe at The price
Briar 03-27-2007, 11:20 PM My experience with MBZ and Porsche's is you loose 15% from sticker just driving off the lot. Caveat - when demand far oupaces supply, which is unknown with the 335i vert. And this type of situation usually exists for short period of time.
