How is it certified if you are selling it? theroyalwe 03-25-2007, 07:43 PM yeah... it can't be certified unless you are a BMW dealer. if you were, you surely wouldn't be asking that question here. what you have is the 4/50,000 mile warrantee from the factory which can be transferred. if you got the extra 2/50,000 then you should sell that back to them because it can't be transferred (but BMW will refund your money). I don't even know if a car that new CAN be certified. anyway, check kbb.com to find out what a private sale value of the car is. then list it for a little over it locally and maybe you'll find someone that wants a coupe bad enough to take a used one. ls1z28chris 03-25-2007, 09:38 PM yeah... it can't be certified unless you are a BMW dealer. if you were, you surely wouldn't be asking that question here. what you have is the 4/50,000 mile warrantee from the factory which can be transferred. if you got the extra 2/50,000 then you should sell that back to them because it can't be transferred (but BMW will refund your money). I just did a check and they're selling for really close to what they are MSRP new, even with a couple thousand miles. A2K71 03-26-2007, 12:40 AM I have the certified pre owned book that was sent to me in the mail, there is a ownership transfer card to transfer the 6/100k warranty. There is no listing at kbb.com for the 335i. I see there are auctions on ebay with the certified preowned warranty from private party sellers. I was thinking of asking around $45,000 with the warranty and since the car is in high demand. If anyone in interested, I should have the title within a few weeks. This would be perfect for anyone who does not want to wait 60 days to order one from bmw. CookieMonster 03-26-2007, 03:29 PM My bad it is a manual with the sports package ....looks hot:) not sure about what options it has beside the coral leather with the sports package. CookieMonster 03-26-2007, 03:32 PM it has 2500 miles Driv3r 03-27-2007, 05:50 PM wonder why people are dumping them that fast. That really worries me. Could be a problem with the turbos. fv17 03-27-2007, 06:27 PM really, what is driving you to get rid of the car that quickly?? ....just curious.... 01jlstubbs 03-27-2007, 09:08 PM wonder why people are dumping them that fast. That really worries me. Could be a problem with the turbos. Is it really happening that often? There are many reasons why some want to get out of a car so quickly and unlikely to be a fault of the car/truck. Usually it benefits the buyer though and not the seller this early in the game. Even if the car is in high demand, it is still used and they are still making them everyday. Just may take awhile to get one without 9000 miles on it. JL |
