View Full Version : New paint pic's:
AndrewH 03-25-2007, 02:07 AM Couldn't find any good locations and the lighting kinda sucked, but here are few pics of mhy new paintjob. Have to get the mounting hardware for my M-tech sideskirts and then the black strip at the bottom of the door will be gone.

MaloventEvil 03-25-2007, 05:08 AM if you don't mind me asking, how much did that set you back? (or did you do it yourself)

DannyH4 03-25-2007, 09:01 AM wow that turned out really nice!
LUV4my5 03-25-2007, 09:12 AM The black strips on the bottom of the doors don't look half-bad.
e34werkz 03-25-2007, 10:18 AM Looks good. Black out the kidneys to complete the silver/black look.

Grim Reaper 03-25-2007, 02:24 PM Stunning. Nothing else needs to be said.
This is your friend.. you like his new sig?
Fastx525ixGuy 03-25-2007, 03:40 PM Like I said in the other thread, the car looks great. An m5 plate surround would be money...
Alpine535i 03-25-2007, 04:24 PM Were you at blowneuros? I believe I saw your car, very nice!
rallyking 03-25-2007, 04:27 PM beauty. +1 black out kidneys
SC David 03-25-2007, 06:07 PM DAMN! My heart skipped a beat seeing that first picture. It's gorgeous! Looks way more aggressive and classy now. Those brake ducts are teh sex on lighter colored cars.
kesslerbmw 03-25-2007, 10:39 PM Car is secks. Looks so hot and I kinda like the black door gakset at the bottom. Looks sooo good. Arent you glad you didn't sell it?

moroza 03-25-2007, 11:19 PM That's really pretty. It's not even black or tinted, but that's a gorgeous car. What's the Maxima doing in those pics, though, besides being jealous?
What are those, non-staggered Style 32 17x8's?
+1 on shadowline grill.
Ambivalent on the black lower strip.

:stickoutt
Flamewerks 03-25-2007, 11:49 PM Very nice. Wasn't it silver before? Just a respray? I agree that the lower black gaskets around the skirts don't look bad at all.
Mr Project 03-26-2007, 12:01 AM Looks great. Did your paint guy have to use anything special (adhesion promoters or anything) on the stock rocker panels?
AndrewH 03-26-2007, 01:39 AM if you don't mind me asking, how much did that set you back? (or did you do it yourself)
Well it was keyed in November and insurance payed about 4k and I had to throw in about 1.5-2k for the extra stuff I wanted done.
AndrewH 03-26-2007, 01:40 AM Looks good. Black out the kidneys to complete the silver/black look.
meh, never really liked black grills, think I'm sticken with chrome.
AndrewH 03-26-2007, 01:41 AM Very nice. Are you still planning on selling it or keeping it. I'd keep it, lol.
Keeping it fo sho.
AndrewH 03-26-2007, 01:41 AM Like I said in the other thread, the car looks great. An m5 plate surround would be money...

AndrewH 03-26-2007, 01:42 AM Were you at blowneuros? I believe I saw your car, very nice!
Yeah, I was, thanks!
AndrewH 03-26-2007, 01:43 AM Very nice. Wasn't it silver before? Just a respray? I agree that the lower black gaskets around the skirts don't look bad at all.
It was sanded down and then the whole car was resprayed.
AndrewH 03-26-2007, 01:43 AM Looks great. Did your paint guy have to use anything special (adhesion promoters or anything) on the stock rocker panels?
Not really sure, but they came out pretty decent for a "weird" surface.
AndrewH 03-26-2007, 01:50 AM Here's a few more pic's that I thought came out decent from the trip to the BlownEuroz meet:

ohnoes 03-26-2007, 06:55 AM Nice!
Just FYI yannow, you can multi-quote. ;)
BlessedHellRide 03-26-2007, 09:01 AM You theme stealer, you...:mad . J/k. Great minds think alike. I see from your sig that maybe you recently added the 540 ducts? DIY from e34.net, or did you have someone do it for you? I dig it, and agree with the others that the black door strips don't look bad at all. good job on the paint and all, maybe reconsider your chrome kidneys to black, to give it that stealth look.
did not mean to hijack your thread.
s_ribs 03-26-2007, 02:59 PM The black strips on the bottom of the doors don't look half-bad.
Actually, I'm really diggin those.
