i have one from a 95 m3 in my shop. it will work but I'll leave the research up to you if it's exactly the same or not. They have different part numbers but I've found a number of sources that say they are interchangable.

They are interchangeable as long as you swap the dip stick and tube. I found a guy selling one on ebay and talked him down to $100. He's located in Mukgwanago (sp). I'm taking a look at it tonight. If it doesn't look like it will work I'll give you a call.

The guy was asking $150 plus shipping on ebay. I talked him down to $100 with local pickup when I mentioned this website. He's got a lot of misc. BMW parts listed, mostly E36 and E39 stuff.
