Had a flat tire the whole week, and the flu. So, I thought it was probably the weakness that made it tough for me to turn the lugs.
Went down a short while ago to give it another shot. I got one lug loose - just a little "crick" and it was loose. It's obvious they've been tightened with an impact gun. Started working on getting a second one off, and ta-daaaaa - the lug-nut wrench breaks in two.

How often does that happen - I thought these wrenches were near unbreakable?

And how the heck does one get these things off (without one of those guns, of co) when they've been tightened so damn tight? (I had applied some "oily stuff" y'day and things still wouldn't budge!)

Ahh, didn't know what it was called @ breaker bar. T = F * L ... should have used physics rather than ignorance.

Out in Port Lib.
I forgot bout AAA. I'll either give em a call if I can't find any neighbours with a breaker bar, or limp out to a nearby garage in the morn.

Can't wait to drive ... been two weeks now!
