My 535i will arrive from Japan mid-April :)

I have not yet decided if I will ship it or go there to pick it up.

If I pick it up, I want to prepare it for the trip back to Montreal. Basic maintenance (all fluid changes and all around inspection).

Do you know a know a good place to have this done?

I've been taking mine to Werner's Auto Klinik in North Delta. His # 604 946-1711.

Nixon automotive is your best bet. But book early for an appointment. At least 3-5 days ahead.

Where is Nixon?? Ive been looking for a good/honest mechanic lately, but all Ive found are mechanics that only want your money and try to screw you over. Ive heard from a friend that "Valley Auto" in Abbotsford is good, but I havnt had any personal experiences. Abby is a bit out of the way though.

yea, I'm interested in knowing where Nixon is as well. I'm half considering an auto-manual swap in the years to come.

Nixon gets my vote for sure! I was just there this weekend getting some stuff done. Very friendly, knowledgable, and an excellent price for what you get! And for parts I like the Bimmerparts wrecker in Duncan. Dave is great!

Nixon has very fair pricing. They're charging me a little more than half of the dealer's quote for window regulator and rear shock mounts replacement.
