maritusE36 03-23-2007, 09:59 AM supposedly the most expensive tv ad ever created, so cool

Fly N Drive 03-23-2007, 10:38 AM Thats pretty cool, but hard to see it being the most expensive add ever created.
maritusE36 03-23-2007, 10:47 AM well I mean, imagine production costs for flying cars like that along with their respective mechanics/teams to six or seven different major cities, then having the streets shut down to tape it....
fastfly 03-23-2007, 02:15 PM Thats pretty cool, but hard to see it being the most expensive add ever created.
They shut down time square as well as major roads in other famous cities. shutting down the ocean front street in Rio? I cannot imagine how much money it took to pay off the local governments.
M3BimmerBilly 03-23-2007, 02:42 PM I am going to suck the BP camel piss out of my car and fill it with V-Power until the earth is dry.
It's got to be very expensive not to have people/cars on these cities streets, plus the cost of production, ie cars and its crews, filming crew, etc.
It's an awesome ad, I already ordered the Shell stickers, but not using Kimi's, I just don't like him.

Polar36 03-23-2007, 10:29 PM What I would do to be able to drive one of those old F1 cars. What an experience it would be!

Its sensational, i heard my first one at the Turkish Grand Prix last summer. You can hear the car start up from like 5 miles away, no joke. Hearing it consume rears was.....wow.

Oh man. Just the old cars = $$. Flying them around and shutting down some of the world's most busy roads? $$$
digitaldragon03 03-24-2007, 04:48 AM I like how each new generation has a higher pitch than the last.

rmani 03-27-2007, 12:15 AM cool commercial thanks for posting.
Ben Carufel 03-27-2007, 02:10 AM I was fortunate enough to be at a Symbolic open house this Saturday where they had a 1997 Ferrari F310B Formula 1 car (Eddie Irvine's spare car, for what it's worth). They started it up several times. The smell/sight/sound/feel was simply amazing.
They're only asking $975,000 for it, btw. It says "Comprehensive Rebuild By The Ferrari Corse Clienti"...

Ed Salas 03-27-2007, 09:48 AM Check out a Ferrari Challenge race if it ever comes to a track near you.
There were at least 10 ex-F1 cars (all Ferrari) dating back to the 70's. Nothing like standing in the Homestead Miami Speedway Garages/Pits and hearing Michael's/Rubens 2000-2003 winning cars fired up 3 feet away from you. Not to mention 10 FXX, 20 Ferrari Challenge, and 30+ current/street Ferrari's all in one place. Oh yeah, free food and drinks, and a chance to win a Ferrari Experience track weekend by having the fastest Kart time helped to make for a great day as well.
German Pride 10 03-29-2007, 05:59 PM That captures Ferrari in all of its essence.
fitler 03-29-2007, 07:57 PM so sick..
