While I am well aware that my car is not one that just blends into traffic Saturday night reminded me that some Police officers are just out to get anyone who chooses to have a modified car!

Heres the story,
about 11.00 pm on the way to a 21st in Eastwood, just cruising at 50 km/h (in a 60 zone) along Blaxland Rd looking for the party minding my own business when suddenly the blue and red lights suddenly flash from behind.
Considering I hadn't done anything stupid I am pretty surprised as to why I have been pulled over.
Cop gets out and comes to my window and accuses me of throwing a cigarette out the window, I have never smoked in my life! He then accuses me of it again, I tell him to look as much as he wants with his mag light for a lighter, cigarette hell even a pack of them because there no way I'd have it because I don't smoke!
So he does a breath test. Then he asks me to get out of the car, suddenly the cigarette out the window has turned into sparks coming from the back of my car, thanks for the concern officer but if something metallic was sparking I think I'd hear or feel it!
So then the other officer gets out and surprise they start checking over my car, here we go I think to myself.

They start off with,
Q: Whats that on your exhaust???
Me: An oil stain from the front diff seal, which leaked that I repaired.
Them: The exhaust is low isn't it?
Me: No why do you say that
Them: Do you have engineer’s papers for this car?
Me: Sure do, here you go!
Them: Whats the go with your front tyre?
Me: It scrubbed slightly on the inner guard at the race track, I fixed the problem and the slight cut will wear away, oh by the way I am a mechanic too!!!
Them: uhh ok...... well on your way
Me: good evening officers!!!

Absolute waste of time for both parties involved, as far as I am concerned it was pretty much harassment because they merely made up some bullshit excuse to pull me over, an RBT ok but don't give me some bullshit story!! At all times I kept my cool and reminded them I was not being a smart arse, I feel I played the game fairly and they really didn't have anything to pin me with
thankfully.

Any other forum users suffer anything similar to this?

I guess having a yellow car doesn't help huh hehe...

I get pulled over for "random breath tests" now and then. Then they start goin gover the car. Usually hassle me abotu the p plates int he windows, just act innocent and ask if its ok to change them as soon as you get home ;)

Dont tell me about Yellow Cars and Cops!!! My old Bimmer (Yellow E30 cabrio) was a cop magnet BIG TIME! Always had them pulling me over for NO REASON (well RBT, then they start hassleing)

My latest tape I had mixed up that day playing, and Im dancing around in the front seat like an idiot.
Got pulled over, door trims taken off, boot stripped, and myself, stripsearched by 3 Anglo coppers. They even checked the inside trim on my hat.

Everytime I went to say something they told me 'Watch your mouth mate- just shut up and we'll be done soon".

After not finding the five pounds of charlie they thought they would, I gave them a piece of my mind in the most-barraster like english I could muster up- not a single swear word at all- just systematically demolished each one singly, and attacked what seemed to be their reason for doing this to me on suspicion alone- was it cause i am a "Wog"?

Farkem I thought, and gave them a nice set of fishies and the cute arse end of my GTV to look at as I left. Took me an hour to put the door trim back on once home.

In all honesty, you should have filed a complaint against them all for sexual misconduct! That would have stuck the rocket right up em wouldn't it...

What's even worse is, I dress like a skatey- you know the drill- 3/4 Shorts, T shirt, Fitted cap, and Etnies etc.- you think they wouldve wised up when they saw I wasnt the typical drug dealer- ie no Adidas Trackies/Bum Bag!

Its very easy to cop it when you can be categorised in with an ethnic minority- I mean Oriental people cop it, and I've always copped it for being a wog-

In all honesty you should have taken the car to dealer or something to get the trims put back on and then sent the bill to the cop shop....cos thats really un fair.
