With ordered Sport summer performance tires on 335xi, I'll put aftermarket run-flat snows on in the fall. Pilot Alpins first choice if they come in run-flats. My question is, what are implications re the pressure sensors. Can Tire Rack provide them for their regular alloys, or is it necessary to get BMW wheels and sensors? Dealer parts guy thought BMW rims had a notch for sensors. Anyone know?

WTF? I answered this question already today... wonder what happened to that thread?!?

anyway... get 'em from tire rack... cost around 190 for the whole set. tire rack will mount them for free if you get the wheels and tires from them.

I was informed Tire Rack will not let you buy the sensors without purchasing the wheels from them. Might want to check that.
