Hello , I Have A Bmw 840 Ci 95, Its In Really Good Shape, Only 58000 Miles, Everything Works Perfect Except The Side Mirrors And The Trunk Wont Open With Out The Key.

Does Any Body Have The Schematics Of These Systems To See If I Can Fix It?

Also Where Can I Find Sport Mirrors Without Having To Pay $1,000 Dollars For The Ac Shitnzers.....

I actually have the entire electrical schematic for the 840/850. I'm not sure if I have the pdf still but I will try and track it down. Otherwise i would be willing to just send you the printout that I have (it is like 800 pages or so). Shoot me an e-mail to jgifford@jandtinc.com and let me know.

Unlock the glovebox and the trunk lock should work.

Great little feature for events--you can roll the windows down to look pretty but lock the trunk with your stuff you don't want to carry with the glovebox lock while you are wandering around the show:)

thank you , but i dont think thats the problem. my glove box is always unlocked.the problem is that with the car unlock i sloud be able to go to the trunk and open it with out having to use the key on the trunk every single time.

Terry does have a point that may possibly be valid. I had taken my glovebox assembly apart to adjust it and the little sensor that is on the back of the lock was not attached. You will need to take the airbag out (you do not need to disconnect it) to get to the sensor if in fact it is detached from the lock. And thanks Terry, now I know what this is for.
