We’ve made plans this year to combine our spring tour with the Seventh Annual MidAmerica 02 Festival in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. This casual, easy going event is well documented at www.midamerica02fest.com. Spend a few moments watching the slide shows of past tours to get an idea what to expect.

We’ll caravan to Eureka Springs on Friday April 27th with a noon departure from the Oklahoma Tourism Welcome Center at I-35 and 122nd Street in northeast OKC. We’ll make our way east and collect the Tulsa crowd around 1:30pm before attacking the Razorback State and pushing ahead to Eureka Springs. Check back here for information on lodging plans.

Hey Larry, has it been decided what route is being taken into AR? I'm going to try and round people up to meet at that point.

Hey Larry, has it been decided what route is being taken into AR? I'm going to try and round people up to meet at that point. I haven't heard anything yet. I assume we'll come in on 412. Then at Springdale we could turn north on 540 and take 62 into ES. Or we could stay on 412 and take 23 into ES. What do you suggest?

Since you're going to be on 412, may as well stay on 412. I'll talk to Nicole and others around here to figure out what has the better twisties. I know certain ways have 'turn around kiss your ass goodbye' curves and I also know local po-po and sheriffs are rather strict in those parts... but that's besides the point. Off the top of my head, I think it's 62 with the better twisties.

And FYI, there's a Philips 66 on 412, west bound side, across from a pharmacy about 5 miles east of Cherokee... they have 93 octane.

They're better and getting squared away. I'm still hoping to make it to the club race and be involved. I keep getting the "we'll see".
