I am wondering what it is about the 18's that make them not fit.Where would i run in to problems attempting to fit a set to my car. I have the chance to get a set and the guy can send me staggard fit or 4 fronts or 4rears. I really want to run 18's but i have heard this wont work with the size and offset. I plan on running stretched small tires and rolling my fenders like mad. I dont know that id mind some poke if it was in moderation.
Any info would be great as im looking to buy wheels in the next few days.

The offset is what makes it difficult to fit. The 17" style 5's have an offset of 20, not sure if its the same for the 18's. The 17's require rolled fenders and skinny tires, that extra inch in diameter bring the rim that much closer to the fender so more work would be needed to make them fit.
No one AFAIK has used the 18" style 5 on an E36 yet, you should give it a shot and be a pioneer. You might be surprised with what you can get away with, then again maybe not.

The 18's should fit. It's just that they are very hard to find. Optional wheel for E39's, and I believe they came on certain years' E38 7 series?

To be honest, I really love your Style 32s.
I'd work with what you have, you've just got a bit of cosmetics to go!

+1, looks pretty sharp. You don't see many E36 running Style 32's

Thanks man but i just want to go bigger or wider. I like the wheels but its not really my stlye. I have all the bumpers and sideskirts now im just waiting on the moldings and mirrors to paint it all. If the 32's were 8.5 front and 9 rear id be more up for keeping them.
