I'm thinking about buying these rims and was wondering if they will fit with the smallest tire possible.

If you find out the offset it will be very helpful. Most wheels for an e36 have an offset of 35-40 mm (i think 38 is stock). If the offset is more than that you might be able to get away with it by using a spacer, but if it is less they probably wont fit.
