Hey guys im just wondering who here has ever retitled a salvaged car or thought about it based on seeing a deal they couldnt pass up. I know all the aspects of a salvage car..resale, possible reliability, safety etc is lower. But my question is how hard is it if you have the pictures, reciepts, a tow to the dmv inspection location and whatever else to get the car on the street in not too much time. Ive almost bought one and have afound a few i might act on when my car is sold and i want something good for summer and next few years till school is done. Thanks and i appreciate any help or insite.

i've done it a few times. (had a dealership in NC)

ny is very strict when it comes to parts you replaced so make sure you have ALL YOUR PAPERWORK. main thing is getting a inspection date. after that it shouldnt be a problem.
