I pretty much have $650 to spend on a set of wheels for my e36... im not looking to go stock, so no requests for ///M wheels or ltws or what not, and the price does not include tires. what says bf.c I get?

I don't know anything you can buy new for that price... Check the For Sale forum tho, you may find something nice used.

The Voxx Misanos mesh style look good from Discount Tire Direct. You can run 8s and 9s fr and rr x 17. 9 wides are $130 each, 8 wides are probably less.

OP, run the same size wheel front and rear. Unless there is a madtyte dish differance, run the same size.

DO NOT get 19"s for an e36. If you go with 8.5" wheels, you really ought to go with 245 width tires otherwise you will be streaching the tires quite badly...

You have a 318, get 17x7.5 and run 225 all around. No need to run wider (heavier).

Not true. 235/40-17 tire dimensions specs are routinely determined with an 8.5-wide spec width rim. Just check Tire Rack's spec sheet for all the tires listed in the 235/40-17 size. You'll find the measuring rim width is 8.5 inches. If you go with 8.5" wheels, you really ought to go with 245 width tires otherwise you will be streaching the tires quite badly...

What? 235/35/19's on 19x8.5's is a perfect size and is not stretched. I ran them on my e36 with no issues and they looked perfect.
