Looking to pick up a B6 S4 for a while and was wondering if anybody knows of any good Audi service shops in the Atlanta/Cobb area. Any recommendations are appreciated. Also, what does everybody think of the B6 S4?

Well it is not that close to you, but it is not that far either...Deutschland is where my dad takes his Audi A6. It is off Lavista road and they do top notch work there, that is were i take my 951 as well.
I dont know much about the B6 S4, my stepmom had a B6 A4 3.0 and that thing was heavy as hell and slow, But the S4 has 120 more hp than the 3.0...

Whoa........dude

The M5 is too expensive, after this short sedan phase there might be a P-car the future.

A real one or a watercooled imitation?

Either way cool. Why not just buy the porsche now?

A cayman? Those are awesome looking.

I want an older 911. Someday...

Solid sedans are overrated. Wagons are the new sedan. Just ask Geordie. Or my Mom.

Not the Cayman :evil2

Wagons are teh sex, but maybe I'll just get a Land Cruiser or something. Although a cushy Merc would be fun for a while.

I'm by no means an Audi expert, but I believe the B5s are more "tuneable" (cool, I made up a word) due to the twin turbo 6. I've seen Audi tuners taking B6s and doing the engine swap. That V8 dies sound awesome though!

Thanks for all of the suggestions guys, I really appreciate it.

Boozie, the B5's are more tuneable but I've heard too many horror stories about that car/engine.

Any other ideas that people want to throw out there? (for cars)

You'll need deeper pockets maintaining the audi than you will a bmw. But talk to RINGTAXI if you are seriously considering a B6. Or any Audi for that matter.

If you do get one, and you need parts, talk to me.

I currently have a B7 I got a good deal on. Autohaus on Holcomb Bridge does good work. I have used them for for some work on my previous cars. i think the b6 is one of the best cars produced. Try to go for a 6-speed manual. It works and feels much better. Having owned a few audis always missed the 6-speed. Shape is great and engine is superb. Good luck and if I can help with anything let me know.

E39 M5 maint. would kill me (even though they are awesome cars) and the B5 S4s are just too old (for an Audi)

Thanks Essen, I'll probably be giving you a call sometime then.

Autohaus in Roswell. We have two Audi's and i'm friends with the owner. He's very German and very amazing. He has S4's sent down from up state to do Ko4 conversions and he built the ONLY supercharged Carrera vert in the South. Hes also the only one liscenced to do/sell Eurosport work in Ga by Eurosport. Check them out. He also does Porsche and alot of upgrades. He did all the work on my BMW even though he runs an Audi/Porsche shop.. Tell him Ian sent you

Me personally? I'd do either an E55 (W210), CLK55 (W208), or E46 M3.

And yes, I know they're very different cars.
