I recently replaced both batteries, Duralast - new, a few weeks ago!
I never saw a "Tran Fail-Safe Prog" OBC message!
Should I perform the E31Faq.com - Coast Down Procedure!
I am not for sure how long my driver's side battery was not charged/holding a charge!
Again, more Schooling is most appreciated!

I don't understand. Are you seeing that message now? That message should be gone if the batteries are in good charge and are of same make/model/CCA/Amp etc.
The coast down procedure on e31faq only applies to the V12. One thing you can try is turn your key to position 2 (The last click before starting the car) and then row through your gears. Then Start the car in "N". Then do a quick drive around your neighborhood in 2nd gear and low speed.
See if that clears things up. Please make a note of any unusual noise.

AFAIK, This forces the Automatic tranny to reset the Adaptive programming and learn again.
